📋 Description

• Coordinate the daily operations of the scheduling function for the designated procedural area • Serve as a liaison to internal and external customers for the scheduling office • Perform scheduling functions accurately, timely, and professionally for assigned areas • Learn IT system upgrades and enhancements related to scheduling modules • Maintain records and patient scheduling forms • Follow current HIPAA regulations related to procedural-area scheduling • Educate other areas on scheduling-module processes and functionality • Use nursing knowledge and experience in daily schedule decision-making • Implement block scheduling and related processes to optimize resources and patient outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• High School Graduate • Associate Degree Nursing • Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing Kansas or Missouri RN License • Knowledge of procedures, processes, supplies and equipment • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department
