📋 Description

• Drive all aspects of major subcontract execution, including cost, schedule, technical, and quality performance • Integrate subcontract work within the broader program, including proposals, negotiations, and contract execution • Manage integration of Subcontracts, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Planning teams • Serve as primary point of contact between subcontractors and the project management team • Oversee the entire procurement cycle between KBR’s technical team and suppliers • Address critical, time-sensitive, and complex issues involving proposal evaluations, contract documentation, and contract modifications • Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services • Lead supplier negotiations regarding cost, terms and conditions, and long-term agreements • Control costs, manage cost avoidance, and perform price analysis • Develop supplier sourcing strategies and metrics for commodity products • Measure, manage, and improve supplier performance and initiate corrective actions • Research market trends • Conduct ad-hoc analysis for upper management and corporate supply chain leadership • Manage and mentor the Purchasing/Subcontracts Team, including performance appraisals and training needs • Implement initiatives to improve efficiency and sustain KPIs • Implement GR/IR strategies to promote timely supplier payment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • Typically 15+ years of experience in procurement and subcontract management • At least 3-5 years in a management role • Minimum 5-7 years of subcontracts management experience with negotiating Master Service Agreements and complex Subcontract Agreements • Proven experience establishing scope of work and writing technical or non-technical documentation, including Specifications, Statements of Work, Contracts/Subcontracts, and Supplier Deliverables • Experience supporting IDIQ, Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price, and other subcontract types • Experience with negotiations, terms and conditions, incentive arrangements, and order placement • US Government Contract Experience highly desirable, specifically LOGCAP • Strong working knowledge of FAR and DFARS • Significant experience negotiating Subcontract Agreements valued in the $25-$50M range • Experience managing and leading 25+ supply chain personnel is favorable • Proven experience managing Subcontract Administrators and Subcontract Supervisors • Excellent English communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including with international teams and suppliers • Strong project management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills • Attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems with excellent organizational skills • Background check required
