📋 Description

• Lead the procurement program at Mixpanel and manage a team of two. • Manage and develop team members through coaching, skill-building, career growth, and day-to-day performance. • Lead complex, cross-functional procurement projects, setting priorities and anticipating challenges. • Collaborate with FP&A, Security, IT, and Legal on purchasing processes and improvements. • Build strategic vendor and technology-partner relationships to secure discounts and maximize value. • Identify and implement procurement process improvements using better processes, AI, and emerging tools. • Provide procurement process training to employees involved in purchasing products and services. • Shape and communicate the procurement team vision in support of Operational Finance goals.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or Procurement Manager, including managing or directly leading others • Extensive experience working for SaaS companies and with SaaS vendors • Experience with procurement improvement initiatives • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment • Experience managing and mitigating risks • Strong data management and analytics skills, including gathering, cleaning, and interpreting data • Ability to negotiate and sustain internal and external networking relationships • Ability to collaborate across all business functions and guide a team through change • Track record of coaching and developing team members, managing performance, and building a respectful, high-performing team environment • Adaptability to ambiguity and shifting priorities • Agility and resilience, with a commitment to continuous improvement • Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and drive to excel • Professional polish and comfort presenting to the C-suite
