• Lead procurement efforts supporting multiple programs within the Product Support business area • Foster supplier relationships and administer subcontracts across the acquisition life cycle • Engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing, and complex business agreements • Resolve medium- and high-complexity issues in accordance with FAR/DFAR and corporate compliance requirements • Nurture professional business relationships with first-tier subcontractors • Provide Supply Chain support for gate and metrics reviews • Perform procurement and supplier management for U.S. Government and commercial contracts • Issue RFQs/RFPs, conduct negotiations, and manage suppliers • Administer high-dollar, complex material and service procurements and subcontracts • Use source-selection techniques, analyze pricing, conduct negotiations, and identify supplier risks • Communicate prime-contract, quality, terms, and conditions requirements to suppliers • Manage supplier performance against cost, schedule, and quality requirements • Partner with program offices to resolve sourcing issues • Monitor procurement reports and drive performance toward company metrics • Communicate proactively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance • Assist with training peer procurement professionals as needed
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience • U.S. citizenship is required • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field preferred • Project planning and management skills, such as MS Project and EVMS • Experience with development procurement and major subcontracts • Experience in a SAP-based environment • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including SOW review • Familiarity with ITAR • Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with FAR/DFARS • Experience with contractual authorization/vehicles, including Cost Plus and Firm Fixed Price • Experience assessing proposal compliance under FAR 15.4
