📋 Description

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors • Schedule planned maintenance and keep updated records of completed preventive maintenance • Perform corrective repairs and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, automated systems, and conveyors according to site and OEM standards • Communicate with site managers, supervisors, and operations leaders regarding equipment status, service requirements, timelines, progress, delays, and obstacles • Meet or exceed service response time, first-time fix rate, and preventive maintenance completion metrics • Report equipment damage, coordinate required parts, and maintain accurate service and inventory records • Communicate with the Parts team regarding parts and supplies • Use OEM software, service manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts schematics for diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, adjustments, and replacements • Maintain minimum 80% technician efficiency or 100% monthly preventive maintenance completion • Conduct routine equipment and safety-device inspections for OSHA, facility, and manufacturer compliance • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient service vehicle or shop workspace using 5S methodology • Support the Kenco Operating System by identifying safer, more efficient, and more effective ways of working • Conduct monthly inspections of the assigned service vehicle or shop workspace

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate required • 2-4 years of mechanic experience; preferably prior experience with repair and maintenance of material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors, or similar equipment • ASE Certification preferred • Silver and/or Gold Certification preferred • Electrical journeyman certification preferred • Electrical and pneumatic experience preferred • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on multiple types of equipment • Proficiency using email, work order management software, and mobile applications for daily job functions • Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics • Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs. • Supply own mechanic technician hand tools • Must be able to safely operate lift trucks • Expected to travel approximately 25% or less • A passport is not required, but recommended
