📋 Description

• Direct all operational and strategic activities for assigned sites • Partner with site leaders, internal business partners, and key customer contacts • Act as liaison between the organization and clients • Manage complex customer relationships • Analyze and identify value-added services matching customer needs through solution selling • Drive long-range plans for customer sites to optimize efficiency and operating economy while maximizing internal profits • Identify new business opportunities and grow revenues through expanded scope, margins, and operational efficiencies • Build strong relationships with key customer contacts through listening and understanding customer environments and market differentiation • Develop, maintain, and measure customer profiles, including business issues, opportunities, information flow, competitor environment, management review processes, and contract compliance • Present complete proposals and scalable, customer-specific value-added solutions • Lead implementation of company programs and assigned site change-management efforts • Review business profiles, indexes, KPI results, and other data to upsell solutions and drive operational improvements • Use Lean Six Sigma tools to make decisions and improve operational efficiency • Coach and develop Kenco operations personnel, emphasizing training, leadership, project management, and KOS (Kenco Operating System) • Require corrective action plans and accountability from sites and leadership team members • Establish measurements that positively impact safety, quality, and financial performance • Perform other applicable duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; M.B.A. preferred • 10+ years’ supply chain management expertise required • Previous experience with ISO, FDA, DEA, FTZ or EPA regulations preferred for some sites • Lean Six Sigma and/or Supply Chain certification or training preferred • Understanding of supply chain strategies, inclusive of dedicated transportation • Strong customer relationship skills and ability to balance and manage customers’ expectations while aligning with corporate goals • Strong problem-solving ability, planning/organization skills, and decision-making ability • Ability to communicate and articulate professionally, in both speech and writing • Interpersonal influence skills • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities • Understanding of and ability to control costs and growth • Proactive approach to employee relations issues • Detailed knowledge and grasp of financial practices and accounting • Ability to set policy and procedures • Ability to lead others effectively utilizing a team approach • Expected to travel approximately 25% or less • A passport is not required, but recommended
