📋 Description

• Provide best-in-class customer service to families by understanding concerns, showing empathy, and resolving issues • Build strong relationships with organizational business partners • Build sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication • Engage families and personalize verbal and written conversations • Handle concerns, provide solutions and alternatives, and follow up to ensure resolution • Use critical thinking and de-escalation techniques during challenging parent interactions • Follow professional communication procedures, guidelines, and policies • Provide service through chat, email, social media, and telephone • Attempt to resolve concerns during the first interaction • Log and document calls, emails, and chats in the internal ticketing system • Follow concerns through resolution and partner with field and corporate teams • Interpret callers’ situations, concerns, and next steps through questioning and analysis • Share family feedback with leadership and clarify service expectations • Suggest innovative ideas and solutions to improve procedures and family experience • Adapt to organizational change • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve parent questions and concerns • Meet or exceed team and department metrics, productivity, quality, and experience goals • Meet attendance requirements for business-critical phone, email, and chat volumes

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to work an 8:30am–5:00pm Pacific Time Zone shift • Great customer service skills and desire to help others • Self-motivated and a self-starter • Previous remote call center work experience a plus • Dedicated workspace at home away from distractions and interruptions • Ability to sit/stand at a desk for the entire shift except breaks/lunches and remain focused • Caregiver required for children/pets during working hours, or ability to attend to them only during breaks and lunches • Ability to be on video during training and meetings and dress professionally • Fast and reliable internet connection • Logic and reasoning skills • Judgment and decision-making skills • Ability to work under stressful and emotional situations • Active listening and clear speech and hearing • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills via email and chat • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships • Intermediate PC/MS Office skills and ability to use multiple applications and windows simultaneously • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and multitask • Strong team player • Ability to adjust priorities quickly • Occasional schedule flexibility and overtime • Basic data entry and billing experience helpful • 2–3 years of customer service support provided via phone and email • High School graduate or equivalent; 2-year degree a plus
