📋 Description

• Own the documentation strategy for at least one product area • Monitor product releases, identify documentation needs, and plan documentation work • Collaborate with docs writers, product managers, engineers, product teams, and field teams • Use user behavior, field feedback, and adoption data to identify documentation gaps • Participate in product management discussions • Write and edit how-to guides, reference documentation, landing pages, and overviews • Test documented features using the software, command line, and API testing tools • Review documentation for technical accuracy and adherence to guidelines • Maintain, update, revise, and deprecate published documentation • Improve documentation processes, document management, and Git-based version control • Help plan documentation work so it ships on schedule • Build or improve documentation workflows, Vale rules, documentation platforms, and auto-generated documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working alongside other technical writers on a docs team • Experience as a technical writer at a software company or startup • Experience working with AI and AI-native workflows, including building skills using MCP servers • Understanding of software testing, including APIs and command line tools • Hands-on experience testing software • Comfort working in the command line • Solid Git experience • Experience maintaining, managing, and reviewing docs in a docs-as-code environment
