📋 Description

• Inspire and support the team responsible for communications programs supporting Payward’s product strategy and Kraken’s products and services for professional traders, derivatives users and institutions globally • Develop and execute integrated external communications strategies aligned to Kraken’s business goals • Expand Kraken’s thought leadership positioning across professional and institutional client segments • Execute storytelling initiatives around trading products, risk management and market infrastructure • Develop Kraken’s bench of spokespeople in pro trading and derivatives • Build strategic messaging at executive, product and segment levels • Prepare company announcements, talking points, media statements, speaker submissions, pitches and briefing materials • Build relationships with institutional partners, trading desks, market data providers, communications teams and external agencies • Apply social-media-first thinking to media relations and content • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • 7+ years of proven experience leading and executing communications programs and initiatives • Crypto experience preferred • Highly proactive, determined and results driven • Outstanding writing, editing and communications strategy skills • Ability to translate complex topics and capture the views and voices of senior leaders • Experience working with a geographically dispersed workforce and managing complex communications challenges • Experience working directly with executives to enhance executive presence, deliver strong messaging and improve presentation/interview skills • Track record of success delivering high quality work in a fast paced, dynamic environment • Experience leading, mentoring and scaling communications teams • Knowledgeable and passionate about the crypto industry
