📋 Description

• Review and perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and make necessary adjustments ahead of month-end close • Support and help lead the month-end close process • Perform or oversee fixed asset accounting, accounts payable and payroll accounting • Prepare project financial status reports for leadership and Project Managers • Identify, research, and resolve accounting issues; trace discrepancies and maintain supporting documentation • Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring accounting policies and procedures • Perform complex calculations and analysis in Excel • Protect confidential financial information • Support special projects to help the Finance team run efficiently • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required • 4+ years of accounting experience, including in a government contracting environment • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP • Extensive knowledge of FAR • Experience with government contract accounting systems such as Unanet or Deltek (GCS Premier or Costpoint) • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills • Strong communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Proactive, professional and able to work independently • CPA certification preferred • Experience with Unanet and ADP preferred
