📋 Description

• Design, install and configure servers, operating systems and system software • Maintain development, test and production environments • Apply patches, updates and security hardening settings • Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues • Automate system tasks and deployments with scripts and configuration tools • Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery planning • Maintain system documentation and diagrams • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field required • 5+ years of systems engineering or administration experience • Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments • Experience with virtualization or cloud platforms such as VMware, AWS or Azure • Scripting experience with shell, PowerShell or Python • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Ability to use common office equipment including computers, phones, scanners and printers • Preferred: Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, RHCE or AWS/Azure certifications • Preferred: Experience with configuration tools such as Ansible or Terraform • Preferred: Experience supporting federal government contracts
