📋 Description

• Support the Great Lakes Regional Manager in promoting ACH Seeds / Crystal Brand Sugarbeet Seed in the Michigan Sugar growing market • Spend time getting to know the Crystal Brand Sales Leader, Sales Operations, Sales IT, and Marketing functional groups • Visit the Shakopee research location • Assist with regional sales and marketing activities and events • Coordinate with Independent Sales Agents • Organize premium items and the Homegrown Giving program selection process • Attend and assist with farmer, youth, staff appreciation, golf outing, field day, county fair, festival, tour, and cooperator appreciation events • Assist with the ACH Seed Strip Trial Program, including planting, stand counts, soil sampling, tissue sampling, monitoring, evaluation, and organizing agronomic information • Assist with Sugarbeet Advancement Trials through stand counts, monitoring, and evaluation • Monitor and evaluate Michigan Sugar Official Variety Trials • Conduct field visits, scouting, and crop sampling with Michigan Sugar agriculturists • Sign strip trial locations • Distribute materials to Independent Sales Agents • Assist with field sign placement and tracking

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the Michigan beet growing area • Major in an agricultural discipline • Knowledge of agriculture and farming is a plus • Strong oral and written communications skills • Skilled in using computer hardware and software, including all Microsoft Office programs • Comfortable with social media • Reliable personal vehicle
