📋 Description

• Analyze daily bank activity and apply customer payments against open accounts receivable balances • Monitor, run, and maintain bank balance reporting for cash visibility and reconciliation • Record cash receipts and post related journal entries to the general ledger • Reconcile accounts receivable and cash application activity, resolve discrepancies and variances • Research and clear intercompany payments and unapplied or unidentified cash items • Communicate with internal teams and external accounts payable contacts to obtain remittance details and resolve payment identification issues • Provide management with status updates on cash application, unapplied cash aging, payment exceptions, and collection concerns • Notify program teams of collection risks, payment delays, and customer-specific issues • Evaluate workflows and recommend process enhancements, standardization, and automation solutions • Perform ad hoc analysis and operational support as required

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business equivalent, or completed a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months • Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines and targets • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Self-starter willing to find sustainable solutions when set process is not readily available • Ability to work with limited supervision • Microsoft Office suite and Outlook skills • Advanced Excel skills • Excellent problem-solving skills • Ability to gather and analyze information and resolve difficulties quickly • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Knowledge of banking platforms, cash application tools, and financial systems supporting receivables and treasury operations • Ability to identify root causes of process issues and recommend practical, scalable solutions • Experience supporting process improvement or automation initiatives • Ability to work autonomously while recognizing issues requiring escalation • Ability to make recommendations, solve problems proactively, and support continuous improvement • Strong customer service mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across functions
