📋 Description

• Analyze daily bank activity and apply customer payments to open accounts receivable balances • Monitor, run, and maintain bank balance reporting for cash visibility and reconciliation • Record cash receipts and post related general ledger journal entries • Reconcile accounts receivable and cash application activity; resolve discrepancies and variances • Research and clear intercompany, unapplied, and unidentified cash items • Communicate with internal teams and customer accounts payable contacts to obtain remittance details and resolve payment identification issues • Report cash application status, unapplied cash aging, payment exceptions, and collection concerns to management • Notify program teams of collection risks, payment delays, and customer-specific issues • Evaluate workflows and recommend process enhancements, standardization, and automation • Perform ad hoc analysis and operational support

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business equivalent, or completed a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months • Microsoft Office suite and Outlook skills • Advanced Excel skills • Knowledge of banking platforms, cash application tools, and financial systems supporting receivables and treasury operations • Experience supporting process improvement or automation initiatives • Ability to analyze information and resolve difficulties quickly • Ability to work with limited supervision and autonomously • Ability to identify root causes and recommend scalable solutions • Ability to escalate issues to management when required • Ability to collaborate across functions and work independently or as part of a team
