• Lead the IT business analysis function, directing and auditing the activities of our external Managed Service Provider (MSP) • Act as the crucial bridge between internal business departments and the MSP, translating complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications • Oversee the MSP’s project delivery, manage the project backlog, and ensure SLA compliance • Serve as the primary point of contact for the MSP, overseeing their day-to-day operations, project delivery, and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, analyze, and document business processes and requirements • Manage the IT project portfolio and backlog, prioritizing requests and ensuring the MSP delivers on time and within scope • Track and report on MSP performance metrics, conducting regular reviews to identify areas for improvement • Oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process • Partner with senior leadership to align IT strategy with company goals • Mediate disputes between internal business units and the MSP • Identify and mitigate risks related to project delivery, vendor performance, and cybersecurity.
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience • 5+ years of experience in IT business analysis, with 2-3 years in a management or lead role • Proven experience managing or working closely with an external Managed Service Provider (MSP) • Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), IT infrastructure, and data modeling • Expert capability in creating business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams • Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into business terms for stakeholders and negotiate with vendors • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and requirement management tools • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification • Experience in ITIL framework.
