📋 Description

• Lead and manage a team of Supplier Program Managers (SPNs) • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders • Drive supplier performance improvements focused on quality, delivery, cost, and innovation • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage and resolve supplier-related issues • Proactively address and mitigate risks to ensure program success • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures • Lead supplier selection processes and participate in negotiations for favorable pricing and terms • Monitor supplier performance through key metrics and implement corrective actions • Prepare and present program status reports to senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience • Demonstrated success in managing complex supplier relationships and programs • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and principles • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, complex environment • Willingness to travel and flexibility to work extended hours • Must be willing and able to travel regularly to other Aerojet Rocketdyne facilities and suppliers across the country • Team building, leadership, and delegation skills • Experience leading, encouraging, reviewing, and critiquing supporting team members • Ability to define and negotiate task objectives, scope descriptions, and completion criteria • Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and make real-time plan adjustments • Working capability with MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word
