📋 Description

• Provide Supply Chain/Material Management representation and leadership for Business Unit and Business Development activities • Lead the Supply Chain/Material Management functional organization in developing and documenting supply-chain strategies, plans and processes • Integrate supply-chain planning into Program Management plans • Work directly with Program Management and serve as the primary customer contact for supply-chain program activities • Represent procurement on integrated program teams and resolve material status, problems and issues cross-functionally • Assemble and lead integrated cross-functional teams while coordinating with suppliers, supply-chain directors, program managers, functional managers and customers • Support supply-chain portions of development and production proposals • Plan and execute affordability, supplier quality and supplier-performance improvement initiatives • Own material forecasting, including monthly forecast development, cost and schedule-driver identification, variance analysis and mitigation strategies • Support subcontract negotiations and develop supplier baseline program plans, budgets and schedules • Prepare presentations and lead presentations to peers, customers, suppliers and managers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant supply chain experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related supply chain experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior related supply chain experience • Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly and ATP processes • Ability to evaluate plans, processes and results using technical knowledge and experience • Excellent communication skills, self-motivation and strong leadership skills • Ability to interpret program management, engineering and supplier demands with minimal guidance • Working knowledge of project management methods within the defense acquisition environment • Knowledge of program planning, integrated master scheduling, budgeting and earned value management • Ability to implement product design and development stage-gate processes • Ability to work remotely in an eligible U.S. location
