📋 Description

• Expedite open orders by working closely with suppliers and buyers to ensure on-time delivery of all purchase orders • Provide administrative and clerical support related to supply chain and procurement department activities • Ensure delivery dates are current and obtainable in the system • Communicate with suppliers to maintain industry best on-time delivery standards • Coordinate part requirements and product needs between Program Management, Program Finance, Engineering, and Material Managers/Planning • Resolve invoice issues to ensure on-time supplier payments • Maintain files, logs, invoice records, purchase orders, and related documentation • Maintain information on computer systems • Assist in expediting orders • Assist buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates • Prepare standard requests for quotations and purchase requisitions • Handle pricing revisions, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date revisions, invoice discrepancies, and change order logs

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience • Ability to obtain a US security clearance • Strong organizational skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills • Microsoft Word and Excel • Knowledge in FAR/DFAR procurements • Previous experience using MRP systems
