📋 Description

• Prepare and issue accurate, complete, and compliant client invoices • Reconcile billing discrepancies and maintain billing records and documentation • Resolve client billing inquiries, invoice-related issues, and account concerns • Collaborate with internal departments, Sales, Account Management, operational teams, and Revenue Cycle Management • Generate billing reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes • Support customer-specific billing initiatives, projects, and new account startups • Review invoices for accuracy and conduct billing reviews and audits for assigned customers • Participate in customer education efforts and meetings • Join Accounts Receivable calls, support AR performance, analyze delinquency trends, and contribute to bad debt reduction • Review third-party billing procedures, payer requirements, and billing outcomes for process improvement opportunities • Coordinate invoice corrections, adjustments, reissuance, payment follow-up, and account inquiries • Act as a liaison among customers and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication, issue resolution, and corrective actions

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with 2 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience in billing, accounting, accounts receivable, revenue cycle management, or a related financial role • 1 year of experience in healthcare, laboratory services, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), or related billing environments (preferred) • Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Working knowledge of accounting principles and billing processes • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, sound judgment, flexibility, and adaptability • Commitment to supporting billing accuracy, accounts receivable performance, revenue cycle efficiency, and bad debt reduction
