📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, averaging 50-60 calls per day • Follow approved standard operating procedures to update and provide necessary information to resolve denied claims • Evaluate current policies and SOPs and recommend process improvements • Handle sensitive information confidentially • Read and understand explanations of benefits or correspondence • Document all accounts according to guidelines and regulations • Communicate by telephone with physicians, insurance companies, and patients • Work with physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients, and internal customers to address client needs accurately and efficiently • Provide product education and handle a wide variety of questions • Ensure a world-class customer experience

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent • 1 year or more Customer Service experience • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills • Ability to meet deadlines and exercise critical thinking skills • Ability to utilize tools to verify eligibility, claim status and/or obtain better billing information • Ability to work Monday-Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM EST and Friday 8 AM to 5 PM EST • Preferred: 1 year or more high volume call experience • Preferred: 1 year or more healthcare or medical experience
