📋 Description

• Perform FISH analysis on all specimen types • Review test requisitions to gather pertinent details for analysis • Summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature • Distinguish between normal and abnormal test results • Perform and evaluate troubleshooting • Document corrective actions as needed • Comply with company policies and procedures • Focus primarily on onscreen FISH analysis utilizing Metasystems Neon

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology • 5 years or more experience in FISH analysis • ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG) • Previous experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images • Computer skills, including effective use of the Internet, email, text messaging, chat applications, and familiarity with Microsoft Office • Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills • Strong patient focus • Ability to manage time, conflicting priorities, stress, and professional development • Ability to work independently with limited supervision • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test • Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace • Agree to include home address in case reporting (CMS requirement) • Internet 100 Mbps minimum • Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
