📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global accounting team with clear roles, decision rights, objectives, and development plans • Manage and accelerate close activities for general accounting, treasury, accounts payable, employee reimbursements, and corporate card program management • Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses in compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies • Execute technical accounting for stock-based compensation (ASC 718), leases (ASC 842), and foreign currency matters (ASC 830), including drafting analyses and memos for review • Lead implementation of a procure-to-pay (PTP) tool, focusing on the PO-to-Pay workflow from requirements through rollout and adoption • Partner with the International Accounting team to ensure intercompany transactions and subsidiaries’ financial reporting are accurate and timely • Partner with Technology teams and business stakeholders on ERP enhancements/implementations, integrations, and reporting improvements • Document and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and key controls • Identify and implement workflow improvements and systems optimization/AI automation across close and accounting operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • At least eight years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or a high-growth technology company. • CPA is required • Big 4 experience is preferred • At least three years of experience leading a team of accountants • Strong knowledge of US GAAP • Hands-on experience in NetSuite (or a similar ERP), including improving workflows and reports • Ability to operate independently with strong accountability and initiative • Demonstrated experience using automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations • Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment • Ability to work across Finance and the business and explain complex accounting clearly to leaders, auditors, and colleagues outside Finance
