📋 Description

• Provide preventive and general maintenance for analytical and metallographic instrumentation • Perform breakdown repairs, troubleshooting, and corrective actions • Install new instrumentation • Perform updates and upgrade kit installations • Train customers on theory, operation, software, and good maintenance practices • Ensure all work complies with LECO’s ISO accreditation • Travel throughout the South-Central Region, primarily serving customers in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana and surrounding regions as needed • Attend required training in St. Joseph, Michigan and complete field service training nationwide

🎯 Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to adhere to customer site and safety requirements • Professional conduct and attention to detail • Strong organizational skills • Attend instrumentation training at LECO Corporation in St. Joseph, Michigan for 3–5 months • Complete field service training with experienced field service engineers throughout the country • Attend annual service training at LECO Corporation in St. Joseph, Michigan • Ability to travel daily, with up to four overnight hotel stays per week, Monday–Friday • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Pass a background check and substance abuse screenings • Authorized to work in the US without restriction • Personal credit card, or ability to obtain one • Strong mechanical skills • Previous experience with AC and DC electronics, or ability to learn • One or more of: Two Year Technical Degree, Trade School, prior military training in a technical field, or equivalent work experience/training in a technical field • Chemistry or military background is advantageous but not required
