📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain custom SAP Commerce extensions, including data models, service layer, facades, interceptors, cron jobs, and platform logic • Work across the SAP Commerce type system, persistence, Spring-based service layer, ImpEx, FlexibleSearch, and Commerce Cloud build/deploy model • Develop new platform capabilities against business requirements and maintain/refactor the existing codebase, including the accelerator-based storefront • Build and maintain resilient integrations between SAP Commerce and ERP, PIM/Stibo, and CRM systems through middleware where appropriate • Define data ownership and source-of-truth behavior across system boundaries • Design and build OCC/commerce APIs with consistent semantics and stable versioning where needed • Own production issues through reproduction, isolation, root-cause analysis, fixing, and verification • Use SAP Commerce Cloud logs and Dynatrace traces, service flow, log analysis, and performance metrics to diagnose issues • Communicate root cause and impact to the team and stakeholders and follow action items to closure • Conduct pull-request reviews for domain correctness and architectural adherence • Produce transferable documentation and reduce tribal knowledge • Contribute during solutioning and design to identify risks before sprint execution • Participate in requirements and scope definition and provide credible estimates • Work in an Agile Kanban/sprint-based delivery model with feature flags, fallback logic, error handling, and test coverage

🎯 Requirements

• Strong, demonstrable SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) backend experience — typically 6+ years — with full, independent ownership of non-trivial extension and platform work • Experience building extensions across the type system, persistence layer, Spring service layer, interceptors, ImpEx, and FlexibleSearch • Sound design patterns and OOD principles in a layered architecture • Ability to reason through the full stack from storefront or API request through service and persistence layers to the integration boundary • Ability to independently diagnose production issues through SAP Commerce Cloud logs and Dynatrace and trace ambiguous symptoms to root cause • Experience building and maintaining integrations between SAP Commerce and upstream ERP, PIM/Stibo, and CRM systems, including through middleware • Ability to reason about data authority, resilience, and failure behavior across system boundaries • Ability to work independently, own outcomes end to end, and communicate root cause and impact clearly • Strong SQL and Solr preferred • Experience with or ability to reason about headless/composable architecture, including OCC consumed by Spartacus/Composable Storefront or a custom React frontend, preferred • Track record of improving developer capability through documentation, design input, and reviews, preferred • Familiarity with composable/MACH architecture, Contentful or another headless CMS, Algolia, and Cloudinary, preferred • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience, preferred

🏖️ Benefits

• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage • High employer 401K match • Paid time off (PTO) • Holiday pay • Short-term and long-term disability benefit plans • Above-benchmark paid maternity and parental leave • Bonus opportunities in accordance with the Company’s incentive plans • Paid time off to volunteer • Employee Resource Group network
