📋 Description

• Define plans, processes, methods, and tools for supply chain management and chain of custody for Government assets • Research and recommend cost-effective purchase arrangements • Support the Government’s purchase process and coordinate delivery of purchases • Manage, track, and audit hardware recapitalization, maintenance agreements, and software licensing • Review purchase requisitions for clarity, compliance, detail, and completeness • Obtain additional information as necessary • Manage the procurement process from order placement through receipt of products and subsequent invoice payment • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and documentation for auditing • Manage supplier performance through consistent communication and adherence to purchase order terms and conditions • Participate in invoice approval and resolve issues as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and some work experience—generally less than 2 years • A combination of education, experience, training through employment, internships, military, or certification relative to procurement may be considered in lieu of degree • Ability to effectively communicate processes and procedures to customer base where appropriate • Outstanding customer service skills to meet high demand requirements • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers • Strong oral and written communication skills • Willingness to learn new skills and apply them confidently in day-to-day processes • Problem-solving techniques to address unique procurement requests that impact critical support requirements • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities • Experience with Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Word • Preferred: Costpoint experience • Preferred: Knowledge in government contracts • Preferred: Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations • Preferred: Terms and Conditions negotiation experience • Preferred: Knowledge of build to print, fabricated parts, and components
