• Support the Federal Aviation Administration Eastern Service Area by providing construction oversight for projects • Coordinate with Project Engineers, Contracting Officer Representatives, and Contracting Officers • Monitor construction activities and report progress and issues • Ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and objectives • Provide on-site construction monitoring, coordination, and quality assurance services • Lead and manage large-scale construction projects and field operations • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, engineers, and stakeholders • Ensure contractor compliance with safety policies, regulatory standards, and contract requirements through field oversight and construction quality assurance • Monitor construction progress, identify risks, track deviations, and resolve complex technical and construction challenges • Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and work plans • Support engineering coordination, constructability reviews, and field-driven design adjustments • Support inspections, commissioning, and project closeout, including tracking and resolving punch list items • Maintain accurate reports and as-built documentation • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders • Develop solutions to complex technical problems through independent analysis and engineering judgment
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) • 4+ years of experience in construction of commercial, industrial, or government facilities • Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans/specifications, building materials, and applicable codes and quality standards • Proven ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, engineers, and government stakeholders • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and construction document review tools (e.g., Bluebeam or similar) • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends • Ability to meet travel requirements, including a valid driver’s license and passport • Ability to navigate uneven terrain and varying environmental conditions in active construction environments • Ability to access elevated work areas using ladders and stairs, up to 12 flights • Ability to work in mechanical and equipment rooms with elevated noise levels and active construction conditions • Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 pounds
