📋 Description

• Lead project teams to complete engineering design of electrical infrastructure projects for construction clients throughout the United States • Take responsibility for overall project performance, reporting, and strategic relationships • Manage project costs, schedule, and scope, including recovery plans • Interface with clients and internal management to solve issues and report progress, costs, schedule adherence, and risks • Ensure contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle • Coordinate with Engineering Leads and Managers to track and execute client deliverables • Ensure and document adherence to quality control processes • Communicate with clients, internal project teams, engineering disciplines, functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel • Prepare bid documents, develop cost estimates, and respond to requests for proposal • Complete client invoicing and accruals within prescribed time frames • Improve existing partnerships and grow new relationships in the local area • Travel periodically as needed to serve utility customers

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with the electric power industry and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery services • Demonstrated experience working in a project environment for/with US based electric utilities • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or a related discipline is required • A minimum of four (4) + years of relevant experience in the electric power industry • Candidates with experience in a consulting environment will be highly preferred • Capability to understand, plan, monitor and report project financial performance • Demonstrated success in change management • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience with project management software (e.g., Workfront, Pro Core, MS Project, P6) • Experience with MS Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Periodic travel is required; candidates should be available for travel as needed • Candidates must be located in the US to be considered • Sponsorship is not available for this position • Experience leading EPC contracts (an additional qualification) • Experience supporting construction operations (an additional qualification) • PMP Certification is ideal; candidates may desire to obtain PMP Certification within two years
