📋 Description

• Lead the design, integration, and hands-on implementation of enterprise network solutions supporting private cloud SDDC modernization initiatives • Design and implement automated deployment of Layer 2/Layer 3 enterprise network architectures supporting VMware-based private cloud environments • Develop and integrate Software-Defined Networking solutions using Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, and ancillary datacenter technologies • Design secure network architectures supporting ECS, CPS, IaaS, DevOps platforms, and SMC • Collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, cybersecurity, and DevOps engineering teams • Develop network automation solutions using IaC, Ansible, Python, Terraform, or similar technologies • Integrate COTS networking solutions into secure enterprise environments • Develop and maintain network architectures, engineering designs, implementation plans, technical procedures, and configuration documentation • Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, technical reviews, design governance, and cross-functional engineering collaboration • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance • Travel to NATO sites to install, configure, integrate, test, and validate enterprise networking solutions • Support infrastructure modernization, technical planning, and proposal development activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience • Active NATO Secret clearance or higher • Experience designing and implementing enterprise routing, switching, and SDN solutions • Strong experience with Cisco enterprise networking technologies, including Cisco ACI • Experience with VMware NSX or equivalent network virtualization technologies • Experience designing and integrating enterprise network solutions for private cloud or hybrid cloud environments • Extensive experience with IaC, Ansible, Terraform, Python, or similar technologies • Understanding of enterprise networking, network segmentation, routing protocols, switching, load balancing, DNS, and IP services • Understanding of secure network architecture, Zero Trust principles, and enterprise cybersecurity practices • Experience in Agile, SAFe, or DevSecOps delivery frameworks • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical collaboration skills • Experience supporting defense, government, or highly regulated development environments • CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certification preferred • VMware NSX or equivalent SDN certification preferred • Experience supporting NATO environments and compliance frameworks preferred • Experience with F5 load balancing technologies preferred • Experience with enterprise network monitoring, automation, and orchestration platforms preferred • Familiarity with Python, REST APIs, and network programmability preferred • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure modernization and enterprise platform engineering initiatives preferred
