📋 Description

• Provide consulting services and work products supporting financial transactions involving the development, financing, acquisition, and sale of generation and non-generation hard assets • Identify technical and commercial risks and help clients find or evaluate solutions • Collaborate with project developers, utilities, equipment manufacturers, engineering firms, investors, bankers, and legal and financial advisors • Determine, monitor, and review project economics, including costs, operational budgets, staffing, subcontractors, resources, and risk • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on project activities • Lead project teams based on client requirements and objectives • Facilitate status review meetings with project team members and clients • Support senior management with proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules • Manage project requirements, scope, and change issues • Coach and counsel cross-functional team members to accomplish goals, meet schedules, and resolve technical or operational issues

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in energy consulting and evaluation of distributed generation, combined heat and power plants, utility consulting, electric power generation facilities, and related technologies • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline from an accredited university, or additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree • 12 to 15 plus years of experience in a broad range of independent engineering assignments and/or related business functions • Experience consulting for lenders, funds, utilities, and independent developers • Experience evaluating commercial risks in construction, procurement, operating, and services contracts • Ability to travel up to 10–15% of the time
