📋 Description

• Manage teams of engineers supporting the Defense Enclave Services digital modernization program • Improve and sustain the DES single service provider integrated environment • Deliver enhanced network capabilities for the DISA network • Oversee projects involving Zero-Trust policies, migration of network services, and IPv6 implementation • Ensure on-time project completion • Manage engineering resources daily • Host regular status meetings with government stakeholders • Coordinate obstacle removal with engineering teams and government leaders • Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering teams • Coordinate team activities to meet contractual milestones, maintenance windows, and Change Request submissions and approvals • Collect, document, prioritize, and communicate project requirements • Reassign tasking to address emerging priorities or lagging activities • Promote communication and collaboration through stand-ups and team channels • Seek improvement opportunities and coordinate changes with leadership • Escalate unresolved blockers and issues • Support team members’ professional growth through feedback, goals, and advancement opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience • An active DoD Secret clearance • US Citizenship required • Experience managing teams of engineers, including mentoring and fostering communication and collaboration across the team • Experience managing IT projects for the DoD or other U.S. Government agencies • Proven ability to execute projects effectively, including management of staffing, schedule, and cost • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines • Strong problem-solving mindset • Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence • Preferred: Experience managing the implementation of Network Segmentation, Full Stack IPv6, Wireless Network modernization, and/or Infoblox DDI
