• Provide technical and project management support for Leidos Airport Site Lead services supporting TSA SEDS and DSD • Manage the full project lifecycle as site lead/project manager • Conduct site surveys and validations, identify and mitigate risks, coordinate stakeholders, develop reports, review and comment on drawings, oversee construction and installations, develop and track schedules, manage permits, witness testing, and complete project sell-off/closeout • Serve as technical liaison for TSA DSD Checkpoint Deployment Coordinators throughout project lifecycles • Plan, coordinate, and advise on checkpoint security screening equipment installations, removals, and relocations • Coordinate and report project schedules, stakeholder activities, meetings, shipments, equipment delivery, badging, permitting, and storage • Prepare and update ReMAG equipment request forms, DD-1149 forms, Test Readiness Notifications, and deployment documentation • Provide onsite support for delivery, removal, rigging, placement, installation, integration, and testing of screening equipment • Coordinate ORT, SAT, and ISAT scheduling and observe/support testing activities • Oversee de-installation, decommission checklists, cleaning, packaging, dunnage removal, and checkpoint restoration • Develop agendas and lead ad hoc, weekly, IPT, and installation-readiness meetings • Take meeting minutes and disseminate them to the team • Provide status reporting, schedule updates, forward planning, and stakeholder responsiveness • Support airport security system maintenance, upgrades, relocations, and transition to next-generation capability
• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience or Master’s Degree and 6 years of experience • Eight years of additional related experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree • Three (3) years of Project Management experience, including two (2) years in an airport • Demonstrated Project Manager experience, preferably construction management, delivering on-time and on-budget projects • Experience working with multiple stakeholders on a single project • Experience planning and formulating design alternatives and solutions for construction projects • Management experience overseeing field staff and subcontracting firms • Experience resolving compliance issues with federal, state, and local authorities on design specifications • Thorough understanding of airport construction practices, processes, standards, floor loading, electrical infrastructure, seismic requirements, and rigging complexities • Familiarity with the Checkpoint Requirements and Planning Guide (CRPG) • Ability to work independently with a cross-functional team • TSA vetted, current or in the past • TSA checkpoint, baggage, or security outpost experience desired • Transportation Security Equipment deployment management experience in the Central Region of the United States desired • Knowledge of MS Project or other scheduling tools desired • Ability to coordinate and manage multidisciplinary technical and project management teams • Professional certifications such as Licensed PE, PMI® PMP, or General Contractor License are a plus
