📋 Description

• Provide technical and project management support for TSA Security Equipment Deployment Services • Serve as site lead/project manager throughout the full project lifecycle • Conduct site surveys and validations; identify and mitigate risks • Coordinate stakeholders, communications, schedules, reports, drawings, permits, subcontractors, installations, testing, and project closeout • Act as technical liaison for TSA Deployment and Sustainment Division Checkpoint Deployment Coordinators • Plan and coordinate checkpoint security screening equipment installations, removals, and relocations • Monitor project schedules, report variances, and track installation activities • Coordinate shipments, equipment handling, delivery, badging, permitting, and storage • Prepare or update ReMAG equipment request forms and coordinate DD-1149 forms • Submit Test Readiness Notifications and coordinate testing stakeholders • Provide on-site support for equipment delivery and removal • Document deployments with before-and-after photographs in the TSA iShare repository • Oversee equipment delivery, rigging, placement, installation, integration, and removal • Support ORT, SAT, and ISAT scheduling and observe testing activities • Coordinate de-installation, decommissioning, cleaning, packaging, dunnage removal, and site restoration • Develop agendas and lead ad hoc, weekly, IPT, and installation-readiness meetings • Take meeting minutes and disseminate them to the team • Provide status reporting, schedule updates, information, and forward planning to Leidos, TSA, and stakeholders • Travel to assigned airports and work non-standard shifts when required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience or Master’s Degree and 6 years of experience; eight years of additional related experience may substitute for a BA/BS degree • Three years of Project Management experience, including two years in an airport • Demonstrated Project Manager experience, preferably construction management, delivering on-time and on-budget projects • Experience working with multiple stakeholders on a single project • Experience planning and formulating design alternatives and solutions for construction projects • Management experience with field staff and subcontracting firms • Experience resolving compliance issues with federal, state, and local authorities on design specifications • Thorough understanding of airport construction practices, processes, standards, floor loading, electrical infrastructure, seismic requirements, and rigging complexities • Familiarity with the Checkpoint Requirements and Planning Guide (CRPG) for checkpoint operations • Ability to work independently with a cross-functional team • TSA vetted, currently or in the past • TSA experience at a checkpoint, baggage, or security outpost is desired • Transportation Security Equipment deployment management experience in the Central Region of the United States is desired • Professional certifications such as Licensed PE, PMI® PMP, or General Contractor License are a plus • Knowledge of MS Project or other scheduling tools is desired • Ability to coordinate and manage multidisciplined technical and project management teams • Up to 75% travel and availability for evening or weekend shifts as required
