📋 Description

• Serve as the primary product owner for the assigned mission-area platform user. • Lead technical engagement with mission stakeholders to understand operational challenges and gather product requirements. • Develop, maintain, and communicate a prioritized product roadmap. • Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics. • Partner with platform engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity, and mission stakeholders to evaluate solutions and technical tradeoffs. • Facilitate product planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and feature prioritization. • Analyze customer feedback, operational metrics, and platform usage data to improve developer experience and platform capabilities. • Translate recurring customer needs into scalable platform services. • Communicate product vision, roadmap priorities, feature status, and release plans. • Ensure delivered capabilities satisfy customer expectations and support platform engineering standards. • Build trusted relationships across engineering teams and mission stakeholders. • Evaluate industry trends and emerging technologies to improve platform capabilities and mission outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of prior relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree. • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience designing, building, and operating production platforms. • Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure. • Experience managing technical products, platforms, or cloud-native services, including product strategy, roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and customer-focused delivery. • Strong technical understanding of modern software development, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and platform engineering. • Experience gathering customer requirements and translating operational needs into actionable product requirements. • Ability to balance customer expectations, engineering capacity, security requirements, and long-term platform strategy. • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, mission stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. • Active Secret security clearance required. • Position requires 25% travel.
