📋 Description

• Prepare annual financial statements for German entities in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) • Lead and support two General Ledger Accountants • Manage the external accounting service provider • Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external auditors • Oversee month-end close processes, review journal entries, and analyze financial performance • Serve as the point of contact for complex accounting matters • Coordinate corporate income tax and trade tax returns with external tax advisors • Support tax audits and liaise with tax authorities and external advisors • Ensure compliance with tax requirements, including withholding tax and reporting obligations • Support the accounting of current and deferred taxes under IFRS • Conduct tax analyses and reconciliations • Support the implementation and further development of transfer pricing structures • Assess changes in German tax law and derive the necessary actions • Support treasury activities and cash management processes • Play a key role in strategic Finance projects, including bank migrations

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Tax (e.g., certified accountant, tax advisor, auditor, or equivalent) • Several years of professional experience in accounting and tax • In-depth knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and, ideally, IFRS • Experience in an international corporate environment • Confident التعامل with auditors, tax advisors, and authorities • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
