• Obtain, maintain, service, market, and grow the company’s insurance business • Assist clients with obtaining and renewing competitive and appropriate insurance coverage • Manage client relationships, including administration, marketing, customer service, and receivables • Manage carrier appointments, audits, memos, and updates • Handle middle-market commercial lines accounts • Prepare new and renewal submissions and present account proposals • Oversee quality control and compliance activities • Prepare change requests and initiate new account files • Invoice agency-bill transactions and assist with collections • Resolve audit disputes and manage cancellations • Prepare and implement marketing strategies for upcoming expirations • Process requests for ID cards, evidence of property, certificates of insurance, binders, policies, and related documents • Evaluate exposures and risks, select appropriate markets, obtain and negotiate quotes, and interpret coverage • Recommend additional coverage based on client needs • Delegate assignments to administrative assistants • Manage account activity, receivables, renewals, and expirations • Liaise with carriers and clients regarding complaints, claims, and grievances • Manage Exclusive Office Program policies in real time • Address management-team inquiries and implement corrective plans • Prevent potential E&O exposure through quality review and course correction • Provide management with account activity status updates by the next business day when requested • Alert team members and executives about incidents requiring intervention • Maintain detailed client-activity documentation in AMS360 or Epic • Prioritize workload and reduce backlog • Participate in special projects and policy and procedure development • Stay current on rates, forms, and coverage changes through continuing education
• Minimum 10 years’ experience handling mid-to-large commercial lines accounts • High school diploma or equivalent required • Active DOI P&C License required • Knowledge of AMS360 OR Epic system or similar agency management system • Knowledge of commercial insurance and products • Candidates must be located in the Central Time Zone • Must meet applicable state insurance licensing requirements • Must not have been disqualified or barred from licensure • Must not have been prohibited from conducting the business of insurance under Title 18 U.S. Code §§1033 and 1034 • Ability to prepare submissions, market accounts, and present proposals • Knowledge of regulatory standards and company policies • Ability to review audits, policies, and endorsements • Ability to manage commercial insurance accounts, renewals, cancellations, receivables, and carrier relationships • Ability to maintain detailed documentation in AMS360 or Epic • Ability to participate in continuing education, seminars, and classes
