📋 Description

• Lead and oversee accounts receivable operations within the Centralized Business Office for behavioral health services • Ensure accurate billing, collections, payment posting, reconciliation, adjustments, refunds, and AR follow-up across multiple facilities and payer types • Drive AR strategy, performance, revenue cycle initiatives, claim resolution, denial prevention, appeals, and reimbursement performance • Monitor AR performance, productivity metrics, workflow efficiency, quality assurance, compliance, and payer requirements • Provide operational and technical guidance to AR staff and address escalated payer, account balance, patient, and family inquiries • Administer payer portals and website access as needed • Communicate with Utilization Review departments and facility Business Office Managers regarding billing, authorizations, denials, and facility-specific AR issues • Assign and manage staff work queues through billing software and ensure timely task completion • Develop and update AR policies, procedures, and quality assurance processes • Participate in weekly AR review calls, month-end close activities, reconciliation, reporting, and variance resolution • Participate in hiring, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of AR staff • Conduct routine audits of collection documentation and notes and address training or performance needs • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field from an accredited school required • 4 years of experience in medical billing and management required • 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare required • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
