📋 Description

• Build tooling for managing and monitoring thousands of servers running dozens of services • Develop host provisioning and configuration systems • Enable rapid code deployment • Build service configuration and monitoring tools • Automate code testing and linting • Own infrastructure powering real-time data pipelines moving hundreds of TB of data daily • Have end-to-end ownership of projects • Collaborate with a small team of engineers • Ship code multiple times a day and measure its impact on users and revenue • Participate in engineering excellence through testing, explainable systems, and code review • Develop expertise in Go and open-source technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Strong coding ability; experience in Go is a plus but not necessary • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields • 5+ years of software engineering experience • Solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience building high-scale distributed systems and backend architectures • Genuine interest and/or experience debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed systems problems • Expertise in managing Kafka is nice to have • Expertise in data is nice to have
