📋 Description

• Evolve production infrastructure and lead incremental migrations toward a flexible, cloud-native deployment model • Build foundations for AI workloads, including execution environments, workload isolation, scheduling, orchestration, and resource utilization • Build observability for understanding system behavior, diagnosing failures, and managing performance, capacity, and cost • Develop infrastructure as code, deployment workflows, and useful engineering defaults • Participate in on-call, improve recovery procedures, test backups, and turn incidents into lasting improvements • Implement access controls, secrets management, patching, and data protection • Partner with engineering and biz-ops teams to turn infrastructure needs into dependable capabilities • Work closely with the Lead AI Platform & Infrastructure Engineer and own systems placed into production

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must currently live in the US • Work authorization to work for any US employer • Deep Kubernetes experience in production • Experience designing new infrastructure and migrating existing workloads • Strong cloud fundamentals; AWS preferred, or Azure, Google Cloud, etc. • Experience with Linux, networking, storage, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform • Ability to write software and tooling to automate operational work • Ownership and clear communication • Experience usually coming from five or more years in infrastructure, platform, SRE, or related engineering roles • Nice to have: operating AI applications, agentic workloads, or distributed systems • Nice to have: building isolated execution environments or working with serverless compute • Nice to have: supporting Python services and asynchronous workers • Nice to have: working on a small team establishing infrastructure practices • Nice to have: operating systems handling sensitive data or supporting regulated customers
