📋 Description

• Perform interviews with individuals and/or families to identify presenting problems, assess mental status and dangerousness, gather psychosocial history, and assign accurate diagnoses using all five Axes of the current DSM manual • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to individuals of all ages using person-centered philosophies and best practices • Assess psychiatric crises and provide crisis intervention while working closely with psychiatrists • Maintain medical records in compliance with state, federal, and agency guidelines • Assist individuals and families with psychosocial needs by referring them to appropriate outside agencies and providing information within confidentiality standards • Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to de-escalate crisis situations and maintain the lowest safe level of care • Provide coverage or back-up for Emergency Services during clinical hours and on-call coverage after hours and weekends as needed • Maintain positive working relationships with communities served, individuals, families, staff, monitoring and licensing agencies, organizations, funding resources, and other human service agencies • Participate in ongoing continuous quality improvement activities • Provide clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for professional development and difficult client situations • Drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• North Carolina candidates only • Must have one of the following qualifications: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC • Maintain licensure as required by the licensing board • Attend educational trainings/seminars to remain up-to-date on current best practices • Must comply with agency policies and procedures • Must be able to drive and travel to community locations, various agencies, and other outreach destinations as assigned
