📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with individuals and/or families to identify presenting problems, assess mental status and dangerousness, gather psychosocial history, and assign accurate DSM diagnoses • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to people of all ages • Assess psychiatric crises and provide crisis intervention in collaboration with psychiatrists • Maintain required medical records • Refer individuals and families to appropriate outside agencies and provide information within confidentiality guidelines • Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination • Provide Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and on-call coverage after hours and weekends as needed • Maintain licensure and attend educational trainings and seminars • Maintain positive working relationships with communities, clients, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding resources, and human service providers • Participate in the agency’s continuous quality improvement activities • Comply with agency policies and procedures • Provide clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for professional development and difficult client situations • Drive and travel to assigned community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations

🎯 Requirements

• North Carolina candidates only • Must have one of the following qualifications: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC • Maintain licensure as required by the licensing board • Knowledge of the current DSM manual and all five Axes • Knowledge of person-centered philosophies and best practices in behavioral health service delivery • Ability to assess psychiatric crises and provide crisis intervention • Ability to maintain medical records in compliance with state, federal, and agency guidelines • Ability to comply with confidentiality standards • Ability to provide service coordination and de-escalate crisis situations • Ability to provide emergency services coverage during clinical hours and on-call coverage after hours and weekends as needed • Ability to drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations
