📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with individuals and/or families to identify presenting problems, assess mental status and dangerousness, gather psychosocial history, and assign accurate DSM diagnoses • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using person-centered philosophies and best practices • Assess psychiatric crises and provide crisis intervention in collaboration with psychiatrists • Maintain required medical records • Refer individuals and families to appropriate outside agencies and provide information within confidentiality guidelines • Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to de-escalate crisis situations and promote the lowest safe level of care • Provide Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and on-call coverage after hours and weekends as needed • Maintain positive working relationships with communities, staff, monitoring and licensing agencies, organizations, funding resources, and human service agencies • Participate in the agency’s continuous quality improvement activities • Comply with agency policies and procedures • Provide clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for development and difficult client situations • Drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• North Carolina candidates only • One of the following qualifications required: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC • Maintain licensure as required by licensing board • Knowledge of the current DSM manual and all five Axes • Ability to provide individual, group, and family therapy to individuals of all ages • Expertise in psychiatric crisis assessment and crisis intervention • Ability to maintain medical records in compliance with state, federal, and agency guidelines • Ability to comply with confidentiality standards • Ability to provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination • Ability to provide Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and on-call coverage after hours and weekends as needed • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with communities, agencies, organizations, and human service providers • Knowledge of and compliance with agency policies and procedures • Ability to provide clinical consultation • Ability to drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations
