📋 Description

• Provide subject matter guidance to a group of 25-30 undergraduate online students • Support students in academic writing, research, and time management • Conduct 1:1 sessions for doubt-resolution, academic guidance, and assessment draft reviews • Guide students toward relevant reference material • Mark assessments with long-form feedback • Manage discussion forums • Provide proactive, prompt, and personalised support to student queries and issues • Interact with students over email, calls, and online sessions • Facilitate BAO7000-Corporate Finance for students in Victoria University Online’s Masters of Financial Planning • Support students in applying capital budgeting, valuation, cost of capital, capital structure, and financial strategy concepts

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience • Master’s Degree or higher in Financial Planning plus 5 years’ relevant teaching experience in an ASIC-approved financial planning course, and/or 5 years’ experience working as a Financial Planning Professional • Registered Financial Planning Advisor Certification is mandatory • Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles, investment and financing decisions, business valuation, and capital management • Knowledge of capital budgeting, discounted cash flow analysis, real options valuation, cost of capital, and capital structure • Proficient in English • Excellent oral and written communication • Empathetic, ambitious, warm, and outgoing personality; willingness to work with people from diverse cultures • Working laptop • Access to stable high-speed internet connection above 10 MBPS • Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac • Availability between 5 pm and 10 pm every day
