📋 Description

• Support the monthly statutory close process for derivative investments by preparing accounting entries, schedules, and supporting documentation • Prepare and maintain statutory reporting schedules and analyses • Assist with statutory hedge accounting activities, documentation, designated hedge tracking, and required reporting • Perform reconciliations of derivative-related accounts and research routine variances • Review derivative activity and settlements for accurate recording and source documentation • Execute assigned SOX controls and maintain control-environment documentation • Support internal and external audits, examinations, and regulatory requests • Validate completeness and accuracy of derivative data, cash flows, and reporting outputs • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to templates, procedures, and workflows • Support system implementations, testing activities, and process changes

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years experience in derivative accounting that directly aligns to the specific responsibilities for this role • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • Analytical skills and close attention to detail • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment
