📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership, direction, and execution for new product development and ongoing product management for non-medical insurance products • Oversee the entire product life cycle from strategic planning and prioritization through launch, implementation, and post-implementation monitoring • Define and drive the department strategy and roadmap within the broader Product Solutions and Group Protection strategy • Drive portfolio-level decisions by integrating financial performance, customer needs, broker dynamics, and operational considerations • Partner with pricing and business-line leaders to translate financial performance into growth and margin actions • Provide specialized expertise on enterprise-wide risk exposures and new product development • Prepare business rationales and present recommendations to business executives for new products, ventures, and innovation initiatives • Drive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support distribution and competitive market positioning • Partner with Portfolio Enablement, IT, and operational areas on technology solution development and implementation

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ Years of Group Benefits experience including product development and/or product management experience • 5+ years of managerial, strategy, and influencing senior management/critical stakeholders experience • Proven experience building and executing upon product roadmaps • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) • Deep knowledge of Product Development and Management best practices • Deep knowledge of Group Protection Absence, PFML, and Statutory products • Deep understanding of best practices of other service providers within competitive benefits offerings • Proven ability to analyze and interpret loss ratios, expense ratios, margin contribution, and lifetime value • Ability to hire, retain, develop and coach staff • Strong relationship management skills with internal clients and senior/executive management • Supplemental Health product development and/or management experience (nice-to-have)
