📋 Description

• Provide over-the-phone and video remote interpretation services in English and Ukrainian • Bridge communication gaps for people requiring language assistance • Deliver reliable, unbiased, empathetic, courteous, accurate, and professional interpretation • Complete onboarding evaluations, including an English proficiency test, mock interpretation session, and medical terminology assessment • Complete background check and security screening • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and confidentiality commitment, including HIPAA compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Fluency in English and Ukrainian • Dedication to delivering courteous, accurate, and professional interpretation services • Strong communication and organizational skills • English proficiency rating of “technical proficiency” (level 3 or higher on the ILR scale) • Successful completion of a live mock interpretation evaluation • Passing score on a medical terminology assessment covering medical terms, anatomy, and physiology • Background check and security screening • Signed Independent Contractor Agreement and confidentiality commitment, including HIPAA compliance • Resume submission • Certifications showcasing skills or relevant experience, if applicable • Prior Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) experience is a plus, but not required
