📋 Description
• Provide over-the-phone and video remote interpretation services in English and Japanese • Bridge communication gaps for people requiring language assistance • Deliver reliable, unbiased, empathetic, courteous, accurate, and professional interpretation • Complete onboarding evaluations, including an English proficiency test, mock interpretation session, and medical terminology assessment • Complete background check and security screening • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and confidentiality commitment, including HIPAA compliance
🎯 Requirements
• Fluency in English and Japanese • Dedication to courteous, accurate, and professional interpretation services • Strong communication and organizational skills • English proficiency at ILR level 3 or higher, demonstrated through a technical proficiency test • Successful completion of a live mock interpretation evaluation • Passing score on a medical terminology assessment covering medical terms, anatomy, and physiology • Successful background check and security screening • Ability to sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and confidentiality commitment, including HIPAA compliance • Resume submission • Certifications showcasing skills or relevant experience, if available
