📋 Description

• Embed with mobile and product squads across the membership app, marketplace, data, and identity to threat-model, review, and harden features before release • Own the mobile application security program, including secure mobile SDLC, mobile code review, dependency and supply-chain controls, and developer-facing security tooling • Own the broader product application security program, including secure-by-default patterns, API and backend security review, and paved-road tooling • Run the end-to-end pen testing program across mobile, web, and APIs; coordinate external engagements and drive remediation • Architect security controls and documentation to meet partner security requirements • Set the security baseline for a zero-to-one AI-native stack, including coding agents, model and prompt security, and mobile AI features • Create mobile and product security standards, guardrails, and paved-road practices for organizational scale • Build secure membership ecosystem products spanning native mobile apps, web clients, and backend platform services for 100M+ users

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a security engineer embedded on a product or mobile team • Ability to write code, file PRs, and ship fixes • Experience securing native iOS and/or Android applications at consumer scale • Understanding of reverse engineering, tampering, insecure storage, insecure IPC, and mobile API abuse • Experience running or heavily contributing to an application security program for a consumer product used by millions • Ability to pen test mobile and web applications, including on-device and API-level mobile vulnerabilities • Experience architecting against partner security frameworks or equivalents, including SOC 2, PCI, vendor security reviews, or mobile app store security requirements • Experience with coding agents, model and prompt security, and on-device/mobile AI features • Startup experience building from zero with a nimble team and big-tech exposure at massive scale • Mobile-specific code review experience with Swift, Kotlin, and/or React Native • Experience with static/dynamic analysis, binary/reverse engineering, API abuse, threat modeling, secure SDLC, dependency and supply-chain controls, API/backend security review, and security tooling
