📋 Description

• Design, implement, configure, test, optimize, and manage complex security technologies and controls across endpoint, identity, network, cloud, email, application, data, and manufacturing environments • Embed security by design into complex projects, architecture decisions, technology implementations, integrations, and significant changes • Perform security architecture reviews, technical risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and third-party security assessments • Make risk-based recommendations, challenge proposed designs, and drive remediation to verified closure • Define and improve secure configuration baselines, technical standards, implementation guidance, operating procedures, and supporting evidence • Drive vulnerability and configuration-risk remediation by validating exposure, prioritizing risk, coordinating remediation, and verifying closure • Serve as a senior subject-matter expert for assigned security domains and analyze emerging threats, vulnerabilities, technologies, and control capabilities • Collaborate with Security Operations on detection engineering, incident investigations, logging improvements, containment enhancements, and lessons learned • Translate policy, regulatory, customer, and audit requirements into scalable technical controls • Define technical health indicators and use telemetry, metrics, dashboards, automation, testing, and trend analysis to identify control gaps and improve effectiveness • Represent Security Engineering in major projects, customer security assessments, M&A technology integrations, and other advanced initiatives • Apply generative AI and agentic AI responsibly to security analysis, control validation, documentation, detection content, vulnerability triage, and engineering workflows • Design reusable security automation and integrations using APIs, scripting, orchestration, and workflow platforms • Assess AI-enabled solutions for prompt injection, data leakage, excessive access, model misuse, insecure integrations, supply-chain risk, privacy, and auditability • Define AI workflow guardrails including access controls, logging, human review, data classification, testing, rollback plans, and output validation • Validate AI-generated security outputs and document assumptions, limitations, and verification steps

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 5-7+ years of progressively responsible experience in cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure security, cloud security, systems engineering, or a related technical role • Experience resolving complex technical problems across multiple systems or security domains • Advanced working knowledge of security architecture and controls across identity and access, endpoints, networks, cloud platforms, operating systems, applications, data protection, and manufacturing or OT environments • Experience conducting complex security architecture reviews, technical risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, hardening, control implementation, and remediation workstreams with limited guidance • Ability to translate ambiguous business, risk, and compliance requirements into scalable and implementable technical controls, clear documentation, and practical risk-based recommendations • Hands-on experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) • Experience using security telemetry, detection logic, dashboards, control-health metrics, and evidence-based testing • Practical understanding of generative AI and agentic AI, secure AI usage, output validation, prompt injection, data leakage, excessive access, model misuse, and AI-enabled system and integration risks • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, sound technical judgment, high attention to detail, and ability to independently resolve highly complex or ambiguous technical assignments • Experience in a global manufacturing or industrial environment, including OT/IT segmentation and operational reliability requirements • Hands-on exposure to Microsoft security technologies such as Entra ID, Defender, Intune, Purview, or comparable platforms • Familiarity with cloud security, zero trust, secure configuration frameworks, vulnerability management, third-party risk, and secure software or product development practices • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, orchestration, or workflow automation
