📋 Description

• Provide live online tutoring in Reading, Math, Algebra, and/or English Language Acquisition • Support K–12 students through individualized academic instruction • Tutor groups of 1–3 students • Connect consistently with students and help improve meaningful academic outcomes • Adapt instruction for diverse learners and provide encouragement • Deliver instructional support during scheduled virtual sessions • Use video, audio, screen sharing, interactive whiteboard, and chat tools • Read and interpret lesson materials in real time • Maintain a reliable weekly tutoring schedule • Complete a virtual mock tutoring demonstration and onboarding process

🎯 Requirements

• U.S.-based applicants only; must live and work within an eligible state • Consistent, committed weekly schedule; priority availability from 5:00–8:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday–Friday • Experience or strong knowledge in Reading, Math, Algebra, or ESL/ELL • Ability to work with diverse learners and adapt tutoring approaches • Ability to build connections with students and create a motivating learning environment • Comfort using virtual tools including video, audio, screen sharing, whiteboard, and chat • Laptop or desktop computer with working camera • Reliable high-speed internet connection • Quiet space with an educational or blank background • Must pass a background check • Ability to communicate effectively with students using Littera's virtual tutoring platform • Ability to read and interpret on-screen lesson materials in real time • Ability to deliver instructional support during live, scheduled sessions • Part-time W-2 availability of up to 25 hours per week • Must be at least 18 years of age

🏖️ Benefits

• Up to $22.50/hr total compensation structure ($18 base pay × 1.25 paid administrative time per tutored hour) • Bi-weekly W-2 paycheck • Fully remote work from home, Monday–Friday • No lesson preparation; curriculum is provided • Small tutoring groups of 1–3 students • Littera pays for background checks and fingerprinting • Paid training • Supplemental income opportunity of up to 25 hours per week • Flexible scheduling based on availability and client needs
