📋 Description

• Act as primary support and day-to-day client contact for client service teams and operations • Build and maintain working relationships with clients and carriers • Prioritize and complete work according to client needs, customs requirements, and Livingston standards • Maintain client tariff databases, system maintenance files, vendors, keywords, and data defaults • Verify documentation for release conditions, compliance, and rating compliance • Create, maintain, and follow client SOPs and ESPs • Identify service delivery and operational productivity improvements • Ensure accurate and timely shipment release and rating across all transportation modes • Audit work completed by Release Pool or NSC in Air/Sea locations • Support, guide, and mentor Release Operations members at non-Air/Sea locations • Escalate items and recommend corrective actions • Create customs entries and enter shipment information for EDI release, rating, and billing • Contact clients and carriers to obtain missing documentation, information, or instructions • Work with Customs and PGAs as necessary • Conduct tariff, valuation, importer-information checks, and documented internal audits • Assist MSD with performance measurement statistics reporting • Participate in daily team operations, scheduling, coordination, problem-solving, meetings, and special projects • Coordinate and implement electronic data relationships • Keep abreast of new system developments • Perform other duties assigned by management and adhere to established policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of related experience • High School/GED or equivalent • Working towards or successful completion of the Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) designation with CSCB or NCBFAA, if not already obtained • Successful completion of the CCS examination is mandatory for further advancement • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills • Client service-oriented interpersonal skills • Ability to handle large volumes and meet tight deadlines • Strong knowledge of company policies and procedures • Attention to detail, organization, completeness, and accuracy • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to make decisions and recommendations within authorized limitations • Excellent time management skills • Professional image • Knowledge of Word and Excel software • Ability to use personal computers and common business machines/software
